At Celsian Education we are currently working with specialist schools and provisions across Leeds who require additional staffing to support their students who have varied SEND. You will be working with students who have additional learning needs such as Autism, cerebral palsy, downs syndrome and physical needs. The ideal candidate will come from a background of working with people who have special needs, whether in an educational, residential or care setting.
You must be nurturing and able to adapt to new and different situations as every students needs will be unique. Therefore, you will need to tailor the learning and activities to each individual need ensuring that the classroom is inclusive.
Relevant SEN training or childcare qualifications would be beneficial to your application, but experience is essential.

We have long term, temp to permanent and daily supply work available across Leeds.
Successful candidates will be subject to an enhanced DBS check (that is registered on the online update service) and relevant safeguarding training.
