VACANCY: Head of Employer Engagement

Twin has a number of pre and post employment contracts and programmes which require active employer engagement, to support customers and learners into work, work experience, and to promote and place Apprenticeships in a range of business environments.

We are currently recruiting for a Head of Employer Engagement to support the business in meeting its employer engagement targets and outcomes. You will report to the Skills Director, but you will work with senior managers across the business to ensure our strategic and operational goals are met. You will be responsible for building and managing a team of Account Managers, for new business generation and managing key employer accounts, working with both internal and external stakeholders to maximise opportunities for the business.

The post holder will be required to …

* Supporting the on-going development of an employer engagement strategy focusing on new business development and identifying priority economic sectors and geographic areas for all areas of contracted provision in the business, both pre- and post-employment. Keeping up to date with current employment trends, sector research and government funding trends.

* Engage with SMT colleagues about overall strategic direction and lead in providing expertise with regard to the development of employer engagement

* Engage in developing and implementing an Employer Engagement Strategic Plan, in line with the overall ambitions of the business, and keep the SMT Team up to date with progress against the plan.

* Managing a team of Account Managers against agreed KPI's to offer a robust high-quality offer to both customers and employers. Meet monthly KPIs, for both yourself and your team regarding both business engagement and income generation. Including, forecasting, and monitoring income against agreed plans.

* Rapidly develop effective relationships with key employers, developing new business leads, identifying opportunities for effective promotion of all Twin Programmes, and supporting the Account Management Team in long term relationship building with these employers.

* Generating and managing a strong prospect pipeline: identifying, developing, and securing employer partnerships with substantial long-term potential and recognising quickly when to engage SMT colleagues in supporting the development of a promising future partnerships.

You will need to display the following personal attributes:

* A sales focused mindset within a high-quality FW, with an ethical approach to sales management.

* Strong organisational skills: with demonstrable capability in multiple task management and evidence of success in delivering clear outcomes to agreed timescales, deadlines, and budgets.

* Ability to work effectively within teams and on own initiative.

You will have:

* A detailed understanding of the government funded landscape for both pre and post-employment funded programmes, with demonstrable ability to explain the benefits of these programmes to both SME's and large employers.

* Experience in identifying and bringing in new relationships/business into an organisation with an evidenced track record of converting employer engagement into business growth.

* 3+ years industry specific experience both over the phone and face-to-face in engaging with business, to deliver job outcomes, work placements and Apprenticeship Standards.

Education/Qualification

* A minimum Degree level or equivalent (essential)
