Maths Academic Mentor role:
• Immediate interview with an ASAP or January start
• LONG TERM Maths Academic Mentor role until July 2021
• Lambeth based Secondary School - can be reached via Zone 3 station
• Maths Academic Mentor / Graduate Maths Academic Mentor
• £70 - £90 per day dependent on experience
• Fantastic school that take on at least 6 graduates each year - all of whom are aspiring teachers!
As their Graduate Maths Academic Mentor, your duties will include but not limited to:
• Supporting students in class aswell as 121 and small group work
• Supporting the school’s catch up program
• Assist with revision sessions, especially aimed at those preparing for GCSE's
• Support and be led by an experienced Head of Maths who also trained at the school!
• Work with students that have learning difficulties and those with behavioural issues
To be considered for this Graduate Maths Academic Mentor role, you will need to have a Maths based degree with 2.1 or above, supported by a strong academic record and a genuine passion for education. We want to meet someone who is confident, resilient with bags of enthusiasm and patience.
