IPS International are looking to recruit a Contract and Procurement Officer to join the Contracts and Compliance Department.
IPS International has ambitious targets for expanding apprenticeship provision and for building a range of commercial income streams. We are looking for a talented, self-motivated individual to join the Contracts and Compliance team to maximise procurement tendering opportunities, maximise ESFA funding and ensure contractual compliance.
The ideal candidate will have good knowledge of Apprentice training and development, demonstrable knowledge of contracts in a semi-legal context and a track record of successful procurement through the tender writing process.
Key Responsibilities:
* To generate and secure income for IPS International
* To meet and exceed income targets
* Identify suitable funded procurement opportunities
* Complete Expressions of Interest and Invitations to Tender for:
* Government funded Apprenticeships and training
* Public Sector Apprenticeships and training, NHS, Councils
* Levy employer Apprenticeships and training
* Support Commercial Proposals for training delivery
* Monitor tender tracking sites for appropriate training opportunities within our scope of supply
* Monitor and maintain existing Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) approvals:
* Crown Commercial Services
* Department for Work and Pensions
* Ministry of Justice
* Maintain up to date course information on DPS sites:
* ELCAS
* Keep contractual requirements for funded training up to date and submitted on time:
* ESFA contracts and submissions
* Subcontracting consultation and others in the future
* Support tenders and bids for commercial and technical training
* Maintain positive relationships with both customers and the business
* To deal with ESFA Contracts and Tender Acquisitions
