COCO Primary Care network is made up of 3 practices, Crouch Oak Family Practice, Chertsey health Centre and New Ottershaw Surgery covering a population of 42000 patients. We are innovative and forward thinking PCN who is working hard to deliver collaborative care for our population by extending the skill mix of our health care professionals.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for TWO Cross Sector Apprentice Pre-registration trainee pharmacy technicians within our friendly department at Ashford & St Peters NHS Foundation Trust and the Heathcot Medical Practice and COCO PCN based in Woking.

We are looking for individuals with a passion to learn and develop, that are able to work under pressure whilst ensuring a high level of accuracy.
The successful candidates will work in the Hospital Pharmacy department and on a rotational basis through Dispensary, Distribution, Procurement and wards and the primary care network and COCO PCN.
Our departments are committed to Education and Training and you will be encouraged to develop your skills in all aspects of hospital and primary care pharmacy practice and provide support to others in training.
You will be supported to do the BTec Diploma in Pharmacy Services on a one day a week basis at a college virtually.
Progression to year 2 of the course is dependent on successful completion of all assessments in year one.
Individuals will need to be highly organised and self-motivated and be capable of meeting multiple deadlines. You must be able to plan your own studies at home and be able to complete the qualification punctually. A significant amount of study must be completed in your own time and you should expect to allocate 10 hours or more each week to this.
The ability to travel is essential you will be working cross sector between the Hospital, Heathcot Medical Practice and COCO PCN,
You will also as part of your qualification be given the opportunity to do the Medicines Optimisation modules and the Accredited Checking Pharmacy Technician course
You can expect to be involved in all aspects of dispensary duties and primary care duties.
