Chemistry Graduate Academic Mentor – The Role:
1:1 and small group tutoring Plan & deliver interventions and assess student progress Collaborate effectively with the science department Co-teach some lessons Attend extra-curricular clubs/run activities to support student engagement Monitor the development of key students and put plans in to place to support them
Chemistry Graduate Academic Mentor – Person specification:
Chemistry related degree 1 or 1st classification Desire to work within education An interest to train to teach in the future Previous experience working with young people Confident, high achieving and engaging
