You will be given bespoke training throughout the year to equip you with the necessary skills and qualities to successfully transition onto a school direct placement at the right time for you.     Initially your role will involve being an Academic Coach, supporting a range of students in small group and 1:1 intervention groups within your subject. Once your confidence and knowledge grows you will have the opportunity to lead your own lessons and create resources for your interventions. Following this, you will embark upon the school’s train to teach scheme where you will become an unqualified teacher with a salary to match, before gaining qualified teacher status, and ideally becoming a newly qualified teacher at your wonderful school within the next few years.
