Our client is a global active investment management firm, which runs capital in liquid and private markets, managed by investment specialists based around the world. Headquartered in London, the firm has 15 international offices and operates across multiple jurisdictions. The teams invest across a diverse range of strategies and asset classes with highly specialised approaches, with long only and alternative strategies run on a discretionary and quantitative basis in single and multi-manager formats.
Research analysts are important to the core investment groups of the company and our client is looking for innovative people with a specific desire to join our team. Candidates may be enthusiastic about investing but they may also be newcomers to the industry and merely interested in solving nuanced, multifaceted issues.
Research analysts will be placed in one of our investment divisions, researching, analyzing and performing due diligence on potential investments, while having the opportunity to expose themselves to live deals as they progress.
Who we're looking for
A demonstrated aptitude for financial analysis is a plus, as are excellent communication skills and previous internship experience at an investment bank, alternative asset manager, or long-only manager, although time spent working in finance is just one of many paths that may lead to an internship with us.
Successful interns will not only evaluate new investment ideas in this position, they will also contribute their own ideas.
