Are you looking for a Part Time HR Manager role where you are a person and not just a number? I am currently supporting a lovely organisation with exactly that; 4 days a week, heading up the HR function for an SME.
This organisation, based in Birmingham, places real emphasis on social justice and supporting the community. Originally founded to support some of the most disadvantaged and excluded members of society, they have continued to grow and thrive to be an employer of choice.
They are now looking to appoint a HR Manager to support the organisation across the People function. You will manage all employee related activity including implementing the people strategy, manage recruitment and any (rare) exits, as well as ensure an engaged and productive workforce. Due to the nature of the organisation diversity and inclusion activity is essential in performing a successful role here. The ideal candidate will be a generalist, have experience with complex case work with strong influencing skills. The HR Manager here will be required to consult with stakeholders, it is a show and not tell type of environment and therefore dedication and a passion for HR is key.
If you enjoy working at a fast pace, with a huge amount of variety and are a self-starter, then this might just be your next move. This role will require a strong work ethic with a 'can-do' attitude and the passion for its' people. Ideally you will have charity, not-for-profit or education experience.
