• Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant

• Must have minimum 2:1, ideally from a Russell Group university

• Full-time for a full academic year as a Graduate Teaching Assistant

• Great experience for teacher training/education psychology applications

• Supportive Primary school in Luton

• Opportunity to progress to teacher training

• Earn £300-400 per week as an Graduate Teaching Assistant

• Interviewing ASAP

The Role – As a Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant you would be working with pupils with Special Educational Needs on a 1:1 and small group basis. You will support the class teacher with planning and delivery of lessons ensuring that all students can access the lessons and make progress. You will respond to students’ social and emotional needs as well as educational. You will work with staff members, parents, other caregivers and external agencies to ensure that students reach their potential.

The School – This is a supportive primary school located in Luton close to public transport links. The Senior Leadership Team have a strong vision for the school and are keen to appoint a talented graduate to join them on their journey towards ‘Outstanding’.

About you – To be a Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will be an exceptional graduate with a minimum 2:1, ideally from a Russell Group university with strong A levels and GCSEs. Experience working or volunteering with young people is essential and you will also need to demonstrate a thorough understanding of Special Educational Needs and a passion for making a difference. Strong behavioural management skills and resilience are required as this role is as challenging as it is rewarding.
