These secondary schools are looking to interview right away for Maths graduate to work as a teaching assistant within the schools dynamic Maths department supporting high achieving pupils and also those who are struggling.
Most of the schools have teacher training programmes and use this as a ’foundation year’ to progress onto teacher training the following year. They have a proven track record of working with graduates to give them the skills and qualities needed to be a successful teacher.
Do not worry if you haven’t worked in a school before, you will be given some training before you arrive and the school will provide further training as and when required.
You will be invited to join an online community of likeminded graduate Teaching Assistants to share ideas and resources with, and build a portfolio of relevant modules whilst in school to ensure you get the perfect preparation for your next role!
