Have a 2.1 or 1st (or be predicted this by the end of your degree) Ideally Russell Group or Top 10 university graduate Core subject or psychology degree Some experience previously working with young people Strong A Levels Have a genuine interest and passion to work within education Be considering becoming a future teacher Be confident, ambitious and inspirational Excellent communication What does the role involve?
You will be assigned a school that matches your needs and travel requirements You will support within the department most closely aligned to your degree or preference You will work with a range of students, supporting children and enabling them to reach their potential You will have opportunities to run small group interventions, work 1 to 1 with students facing difficulties, and if desired, be able to teach some lessons each week to gain excellent experience. You will work alongside outstanding teachers which will enable you to gain the knowledge, skills and experience necessary to go on to teacher training the following year.
