  • What are we looking for?

  • Have a 2.1 or 1st (or be predicted this by the end of your degree)
  • Ideally Russell Group or Top 10 university graduate
  • Core subject or psychology degree
  • Some experience previously working with young people
  • Strong A Levels
  • Have a genuine interest and passion to work within education
  • Be considering becoming a future teacher
  • Be confident, ambitious and inspirational
  • Excellent communication
  • What does the role involve?

  • You will be assigned a school that matches your needs and travel requirements
  • You will support within the department most closely aligned to your degree or preference
  • You will work with a range of students, supporting children and enabling them to reach their potential
  • You will have opportunities to run small group interventions, work 1 to 1 with students facing difficulties, and if desired, be able to teach some lessons each week to gain excellent experience.
  • You will work alongside outstanding teachers which will enable you to gain the knowledge, skills and experience necessary to go on to teacher training the following year.
