The school wants to meet a Geography Graduate who has a fantastic knowledge of their subject that will transfer across to the students and ignite a passion within them. Ideally, the school needs a Geography Graduate who has a natural flair for the creative and is able to assist the class teacher in planning and implementing lessons that keep pupils enticed.
This Geography Graduate position involves spending most of your working day within the school’s industrious Humanities Department. You will be assisting the learning in Geography classes across the school through working one-to-one and in small groups with both high and lower achievers to raise attainment. There will also be the opportunity for the selected Geography Graduate to lead whole class teaching. Geography is a subject whose popularity has been wavering in recent years in the school and you will be expected to utilise your knowledge and passion to inspire the next generation of geographers.
