My Client, a market leading specialist UK based Environmental Consultancy, is searching for a Graduate Flood Risk Consultant to join their team based in Swindon.
Candidates are required to have a MSc and/or BSc in a relevant discipline including Environmental Management, Hydrology or Environmental Engineering and have a keen interest in Flood Risk Assessments, Drainage Strategies and Hydraulic Modelling.
It is beneficial for applicants to have work experience or internship experience for a Local Authority or Consultancy reviewing Flood Risk Projects.
This exciting flood risk opportunity will offer you the chance to join an established team based in Swindon. You will be expected to complete varied Hydrological, Surface Water, Flood Risk and Drainage Projects for Private Sector Clients, Local Authorities and Housing Developers.
You will be trained to complete technical work including;
-Flood Risk Assessments for Planning Applications
-Surface Water Management Plans.
-Drainage Strategy for Planning Applications and Drainage Designs using Microdrainage.
-Flood Estimation and Hydrological Analysis using FEH, Winfap and ReFH
-Hydraulic Modelling.
