Graduate School Progress Tutor – Hillingdon

  • Provide Pastoral, Social and Academic support
  • 2:1 degree or above / Core subjects preferred
  • Support pupil progress as a 1:1 tutor
  • Previous experience with young people required
  • Earn £300-400 per week (term time)
  • Excellent support and training

  • Graduate School Progress Tutor – About the role:

    You will be using your degree specialism to support and motivate pupils across the key stages. As a 1:1 tutor, you will assist and support select pupils throughout the school year with academic progress and personal, social or emotional difficulties. You will act as a role model ensuring pupils focus on their own progress and achieve their academic potential. You will support GCSE and Sixth Form students with decisions about their next steps. Additionally, you will liaise and work collaboratively with both subject specific teachers and within cross-curricular activities, ensuring students receive the support they need both inside and outside of the classroom.

    Graduate School Progress Tutor – Person Spec:

    You will have excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) which will enable you to build relationships with all stakeholders. You will have a strong academic record with a minimum 2:1 degree, ideally from a Russell Group University. You will have a genuine commitment to pursuing a career in education or Educational Psychology and be available for the full academic year. You will be resilient in order to be successful in a role that is as challenging as it is rewarding.
