Job summary:
Location: Marsh Lane, Portbury, Bristol, BS20 7XL
Salary: £21,500 plus annual bonus and benefits
Hours: Full Time 40.25 Hours per week MON-SUN (554 Shift Pattern)
** 554 Shift Pattern: Working on a 5 on, 5 off, 4 on, 5 off, 5 on, 4 off etc basis (15 days per month). This pattern will allow two weekends off a month. Working days are 12 hours, 06:00 - 18:00, which includes x2 tea breaks and x1 lunch break **
We're looking for exceptional Wheel Technicians to join our fast-growing team at Cazoo, helping to transform the way people buy used cars and making buying a car no different to buying any other product online today. The key responsibility of our Wheel Technicians is to prepare wheels for diamond cutting and painting/lacquering.
** We are also considering Trainee Wheel Technicians! Full training will be provided for enthusiastic and hard working candidates.**
What you’ll be doing:
Preparing wheels for painting/lacquering using shrink-wrap to protect the tyres on non-diamond cut wheels Updating internal IT systems at each stage of the wheel refurbishment process Sending vehicles to the next department as instructed by the internal IT system Using orbital sanders to remove small chips/scuffs in the alloy wheel Ensuring wheel nuts are torqued to the recommended settings Maintaining a clean and tidy working area at all times Balancing every wheel prior to refitting to the vehicle Using shot-blasters to key-up alloy wheels

A resourceful problem solver who loves a challenge and can work under pressure Ability to work fast and efficiently Excellent attention to detail Full UK Driving Licence Team player
