This opportunity is open to a graduate who is looking to gain more teaching experience before moving onto teacher training. You will be confident, proactive, resilient and committed to your own and students development.
This is a fabulous opportunity to gain hands on experience across a large community secondary school prior to commencing your teacher training in September.
This role will require you to be flexible and committed to achieving the best outcomes and willing to work with a wide range of age groups, abilities and backgrounds.
Your role will vary between supporting in the classroom, leading small intervention classes to taking on a pastoral role for various pupils.
We are looking for graduates who are serious about a career in education, are willing to take on responsibility for teaching some lessons and learn as much as possible.
To be successful, you will need to demonstrate excellent communication skills and a strong empathetic nature to deal with the challenging and ever-changing secondary school environment.
You will be given second-to-none training, in order to support the development of the school, implementation of the school’s strategies and your own career aspirations. In order to begin this journey, you will need to have a minimum of a 2:1 degree, preferably in a core subject, however if you have excellent experience in an educational, social work or with children, then you may be a good fit for this role!
