  • Previous work with young people is desirable

  • Graduate Academic Mentor – About the Role:

    For this Graduate Academic Mentor role you will be supporting and motivate students with their GCSE and A Level preparation, as well as their personal and social development to transition successfully into the next stage of their education or career.

    Further, you will liaise and work collaboratively with both subject specific teachers and within cross-curricular activities, ensuring students receive the support they need both inside and outside of the classroom.

    Graduate Academic Mentor – About You:

    To be successful in this role you should be a confident communicator, both written and verbal as you will be required to liaise with students, parents and staff. You will need to have a strong academic background, ideally from a Russell Group University, with a minimum of a 2:1 degree. You will need to be confident in all core subjects and have the confidence to be flexible and adaptable throughout KS4 and KS5. You will need to have a keen interest in becoming a teacher or educational psychologist and looking to gain paid experience prior to this.
