About the Internal Products Teams
The successful candidate will work within the FT's Internal Products Group. To note, given thecurrent cirumstances the Product & Technology organisation will also be working from home until endof 2021 and we welcome candidates from all across the UK to apply.

Help teams across FT be successful by giving them the right data, at the right time, and thetools they need to act on it.

Teams right across our organisation - from Editorial to Sales & Marketing - are striving to beleaner, more nimble, effective and innovative. We can help them do this by giving them data andtools that can not only support their processes, but also allow them to experiment on better waysto achieve their outcomes. You will work closely with the team of engineers and admins to ensurethey have the inspiration, support and guidance.

The successful candidate will coach and facilitate teams working in the Internal Products group.This is a hugely rewarding group to work in, seeking to make the technology used by employeesacross the organisation as inspiring as possible. The Team

The specific team you will primarily be managing is the CRM Enablement team. This team maintainsand enhances CRM capabilities across the organisation: from Advertising, to B2C & B2B subscriptionsales, to events management and beyond, our CRM capabilities are broad in impact. You will workclosely with the team of engineers and admins to ensure they are given the support and guidancethey need to succeed, and - alongside the Business Analyst and Product Manager - you will liaisewith stakeholders across the organisation to ensure there is a clear and transparent process toenable them to get their needs met.
As a Delivery Manager at FT, your responsibility is to ensure delivery, and to improve delivery.You will:
  • Deliver value - Work with your leadership team counterparts (Product and Technical) and your product development team (engineering, UX, customer research etc) to ensure that the product is delivered effectively to support realising its compliance goals.
  • Facilitate team - Resolve conflict and disagreement. Lead workshops. Remove impediments that hold your team back. Help them make decisions. Promote continuous improvement, clarity and empowerment.
  • Champion quality -- Technical standards, service management, agile quality management practices and principles.
  • Create transparency - Clearly communicate and measure vision, schedule and progress within and outside of the teams.
  • Build good governance - Manage and monitor resources and risks, proactively plan and take corrective action where necessary.
  • Create vision and value - Help to define, shape and prioritise the vision, goals, initiatives and outcomes - seeking value, avoiding complexity.
  • Manage 3rd parties - Manage and collaborate with 3rd parties to ensure they deliver effectively and that contracts are structured appropriately.
  • Build community - Work to improve the FT's Agile capability. Foster Agile knowledge, the supporting community and tools across the organisation


About You

You are passionate about people and about helping them to find purpose in their work. You lovecommunicating with people, facilitating teams, creating vision and consensus. You also have a keensense of stakeholder communication, engagement and creating transparency. You will almost certainlyhave made mistakes on your own journey, and will be wiser for them.
