E-ACT Kickstart Placement Scheme - Midlands

E-ACT is delighted to offer a range of paid placement opportunities in our academies across the Trust. This is in response to the government new Kickstart Scheme.

We have opportunities for a new 6-month job placements for young people who are currently on Universal Credit. The job placements will support the participants to develop the skills and experience they need to find work after completing the scheme.

We will also provide sessions to help the participants to develop their skills and experience, including:

  • support to look for long-term work, including career advice and setting goals
  • support with CV and interview preparations
  • supporting the participant with basic skills, such as attendance, timekeeping and teamwork

There will also be a mentor supporting each placement and able to offer some time in each role but successful candidates will be able to discuss their placement plan with their mentor.

We will also help with CV writing, interview technique and coaching.

E-ACT are seeking inspirational, professional and dynamic individuals to join the Midlands team.

This role is an integral part of the Professional Services team that makes a significant contribution to the progress, welfare and safety of our students. You will be mentored and trained on Health & Safety and all matters regarding premises and facilities.
