Job title: Junior Packaging Operator
Reporting into: Packaging Manager
Location: London

Salary and Package: Up to £23,979, discretionary bonus, 8% pension, private healthcare, life assurance, staff discount, cycle to work scheme and 28 days holiday, after two years’ continuous service this increases to a maximum of 33 days

Our client is a super well-known and fast growing Brewery. The portfolio of products are extremely popular in the market and they have been achieved YoY growth since 2016.

Due to this growth they are recruiting for a Junior Packaging Operator. The main aim of this role is to lead the Packaging team to ensure that all product leaving the brewery is packaged to the highest standard to ensure a first class experience for customers.

The role will require someone who can confidently lead, train and motivate a team and can multitask and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced production environment. The role will be solutions focussed and require you to strive for continuous improvement in quality and efficiency.

What are your responsibilities?

• Packaging beer into cans, kegs or bottles

• Setting up packaging lines

• Ensuring beer is packaged to specification

• Performing pack integrity checks

• Preparing fermentation vessels for CIP

• Setup of filling machines for CIP

• Moving pallets, packaging and product with pallet/forklift truck

• Brewing assistant

• Cellaring assistant

• Performing pack integrity checks

Skills and experience required:

• Previous experience working in Production or a Brewery is desirable, however not essential

• Competent with Microsoft Office suite of programs

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team

• Strong record keeping abilities

• The ability to focus on accuracy and strong attention to detail

• Capable of physical work

• Can do attitude with a positive outlook
