Junior Mechanical Engineer required for a manufacurer based in Ayrshire. It is portrayed that the successful candidate will have a keen interest within mechanical engineering and CAD Design.

Junior Mechanical Engineer Position Overview

Developing products in line with customer specifications using CAD Design in preparation for manufacture
Working closely with the engineering team to ensure design and production are running smoothly.
Work closely with the research and development team to create design prototypes, through technical drawings and CAD design
Observe and learn from senior engineers within the company and their specific manufacturing methods and designsJunior Mechanical Engineer Position Requirements

A degree qualification in a mechanical engineering field of study is essential
Proficient with Solidworks or similar CAD Design packages
A year or two in the manufacturing industry is desirable but is not essential
Based in a commutable distance of Ayr
Full UK Driving License is preferredJunior Mechanical Engineer Position Remuneration

Salary £20,000 to £25,000 dependent upon experience
40-hour working week
31 days holiday including bank holidays
