PTVH Tutor of Counselling
About the role
York College has an exciting opportunity for a qualified and accredited Counsellor to join our team of Counsellors and teach on part-time basis across established and successful Counselling programmes at Level 2, 3 and 4. The Health and Social Care Division currently offers Level 2 Certificate in Counselling Concepts, Level 3 Certificate in Counselling Skills and Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling and exploring the development of the L5 Therapeutic Counselling.
About the Person
Previous experience of teaching counselling is advantageous but not essential. Accreditation with BACP (or other professional body) is essential to be able to teach on our counselling programmes.
Applicants must be qualified to at least Level 4, be a member of the BACP with a minimum of 450 hours of counselling practice, and be in current clinical practice.
