The Junior Mechanical Electrical Quantity Surveyor Role
In your role as Junior Mechanical and Electrical Quantity Surveyor you will work within the commercial team on large commercial refurbishment and fit out projects. Candidates will be currently working in a Trainee or Assistant Quantity Surveyor role, ideally degree qualified with at least 2 years’ experience post qualification.
The role will be based on a large commercial refurbishment and fit out project in the London area. The key elements of the project include structural refurbishment, recladding of an existing building and internal fit out to a high specification.
The Company
The company you will be working for is a Tier 1 ME contractor based in London. They deliver from the design stage on a range of projects allowing them to hand over projects in budget and on schedule.
Experience and Qualifications
Necessary requirements are:
* Minimum of 2 years’ quantity surveying experience post qualification within the construction industry
* Experience procuring and managing sub-contractor packages
* Commercial awareness: ability to maximise profit whilst maintaining relationships and company values
* Excellent communication and negotiating skills and demonstrable ability to work as part of a team
Remuneration
The successful applicants will enjoy a salary of £30,000- £40,000 complete with negotiable package
