Estimator (Commercial Bathrooms & Washrooms)

Location: Swadlincote or Barking

Neville Lumb is a specialist brand within Saint-Gobain and has become a leading supplier of bathroom and washroom solutions to the domestic, commercial and luxury markets. Due to our continued successful growth strategy we are looking for an Estimator to work from either our Swadlincote or Barking branch.

The role

As part of our leading estimating team you will be responsible for creating quotations for prospect, new and existing customers. This will involve interpreting information provided by the customer to understand their requirements, source prices from multiple suppliers, check product compatibility and meet strict deadlines. This role would suite someone looking to join a successful growing business who understands the importance of customer service.

Duties include:

Utilising the company's bespoke CRM system.
Creating multiple accurate quotations on a daily basis.
Communicating with customers via telephone and email.
Sourcing prices from various manufacturers.
Advising customers on appropriate products, pricing and lead times.
Liaising with both internal and external colleagues to support the conversion of enquiries into quotations and subsequently orders.
Working to deadlines in order to meet customer expectations.Skills required

Excellent communication skills both verbally and written.
Organised with an eye for detail.
Confident and comfortable multi-tasking.
Able to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
Computer literate (Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and Teams).The ideal candidate will be someone with experience within the construction industry or from an estimating background. Experience in the bathroom industry would be a distinct advantage along with familiarity using a CRM system in a business setting.
