Job description

PAYDEK is looking for a Compliance Analyst who will be supporting the current Compliance Team in their day to day activities. The successful candidate will be based in our central London office located in EC1Y.

PAYDEK is a financial institute that facilities cross border payments in multiple currencies across the world. We are a growing organisation, headquartered in the heart of London. We are looking to attract a highly motivated, responsible individual that complements our existing team.

The role will be exceptionally varied and hands on. Dependant on experience, the successful candidate will be provided with training and mentoring where appropriate. This is an excellent platform to continuously progress your career and role within the team.

In your new role you will undertake the following tasks but not limited to

  • KYC reporting
  • Delivering financial crime analysis activities such as transaction monitoring, SARs or fraud investigation
  • Assist in conducting due diligence and screening
  • Collating information from reliable sources and identify trends and financial crime risks.
  • Maintaining excellent communication with all stakeholders including and not limited to banking partners, Customer Service etc.
  • Ensuring record keeping requirements are maintained.
  • Assist in the production of the weekly report to the Chief Compliance Officer (MLRO).
  • Assisting the Chief Compliance Officer (MLRO) as directed.
  • Ability to identify and solve problems.
  • Any adhoc tasks designated by the Line Manager.


Requirements
  • A clear DBS check.
  • Some work experience in Financial Services industry e.g. Bank, Authorised Payment Institute (API), Electronic Money Institute EMI) etc.
  • Experience with conducting KYC, screening and Due Diligence
  • ICA/ACAMS accreditation or similar certificate in one or more financial crime subjects (fraud, electronic crime, money laundering, terrorist financing, bribery and corruption, tax evasion, market abuse and insider dealing, information security etc.).
  • IT Skills and knowledge.
  • Microsoft Office knowledge. Visio, PowerPoint etc.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written skills in English
  • Team player and use initiative when required.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Demonstrate professionalism at all times.
  • Willingness to learn
  • Sound educational background.
  • Additional language (verbal and written) skills a plus.
