Graduate Finance Trainee

At Mayborn, we are seeking an ambitious graduate to join our finance team. Alongside studying for the Chartered Accountant (ACA) qualification you will take responsibility for aspects of our internal and external stakeholder reporting, as well as gaining a solid grounding in the role that finance plays in a global consumer goods business.

You will be working within the financial accounts team and will have day to day exposure to our commercial teams and to key external stakeholders.

You’ll also study for your professional chartered accounting qualification. You’ll have a lot of support from your manager and the wider finance team to help you achieve this, and the breadth and variety of work within your day to day role will complement college-based tuition in your studies.

What we’re looking for

We are looking for an ambitious graduate with a desire to learn and develop whilst contributing to our team. The ideal candidate for this role should have:

• A strong academic track record;
• Commercial awareness;
• A proven ability to work in a team;
• Financial acumen;
• Problem-solving ability;
• Great communication and relationship building skills;
• Good grounding in IT and digital basics.

A background, whether academic or work-experience, in finance is desirable but not essential. Applications from all degree backgrounds will be considered, what is most important is a desire to learn and develop in a finance role.
