Trainee Qualified Person in Sheffield
Job description
A pharmaceuticals group based near Sheffield are looking to hire a Trainee Qualified Person to support the batch release process of drug products from their site.
The company are ideally looking for someone who is progressing through their QP training and has a few modules left to complete before being named on the licence in the next year or so. This role would suit a Quality Assurance professional with a batch release support background who is looking to eventually step up into a traditional QP role.
As Trainee Qualified Person you will be an active member of the Quality Assurance batch release team and be a supporting subject matter expert for your area that spans a broad range of projects, processes, and drug products. A key feature your role will be helping to improve the current QMS and streamline quality operations and metrics.
As Trainee Qualified Person, you will be responsible for:
- Pre batch release processes to ensure that the batch has been manufactured in accordance with the requirements of the Marketing Authorisation and guidelines of cGMP.
- Providing support for the site Quality Management System and helping to improve quality processes.
- Supporting approval for regulatory submissions to ensure compliance with site and industry procedures.
- Supporting investigations and associated CAPAs.
- Inspection readiness activities and supporting internal and external audits/inspections.
You will have the following experience:
- Relevant experience working in the pharmaceutical industry in Quality Assurance for batch release.
- Ideally already be training as a Qualified Person and have completed some QP modules.
- Educated to degree level in a Scientific or related discipline.
A salary of £50,000 to £60,000 is on offer based on the level of prior experience. This will increase once you become a Qualified Person.
