Graduate Engineer Placement - (Immediate Start - £23,000 to £25,000 per annum!)

As part of our continued growth we are seeking a Graduate Engineer to be responsible for the design, development and analysis of tooling and heating / cooling systems for the composite sector. You will have a minimum of 2 years relevant experience that covers design, drawing and compiling bills of materials (BOM) together with assembly fixture knowledge.

35 - 40 hours per week
Between £23,000.00 and £25,000.00 Per Hour

What are you going to do:

Graduate Engineer – 1-year Placement

As part of our continued growth, we are seeking a Graduate Engineer to be responsible for the design, development and analysis of tooling and heating/cooling systems for the composite sector. You will have a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience that covers design, drawing and compiling bills of materials (BOM) together with assembly fixture knowledge.


Responsibilities:

  • Support Business Development through the generation of design concepts
  • Determining optimum design solutions against customer specifications
  • Undertaking engineering tasks in accordance with programme time and budget constraints
  • Presentation of designs at internal/external reviews
  • Manufacture of composite samples

 

Essential qualifications and experience:

  • Excellent SolidWorks experience
  • Ability to cost and finish projects on budget and within timescale
  • Technical qualification to HNC/HND level or equivalent in a relevant discipline, e.g. mechanical engineering
  • Proven relationship management, as this role will deal with colleagues, clients and suppliers
  • Excellent practical experience and familiarity with mechanical systems
  • Desirable qualifications and experience
  • Proven track record in performing analysis using Cosmos and Flow

Surface Generation offers a competitive salary of £23,000 to £25,000 per annum, in addition to 25 days annual leave (excluding bank holidays) and an innovative working environment.
