DENSO Marston Graduate Scheme

We are looking for motivated and enthusiastic graduates to join our Graduate Programme at our site in Baildon, Bradford.

Over a period of 18 months, you will undergo cross functional training in all our key departments, giving you a holistic view of our company and how it operates. You will rotate through various Manufacturing departments, gaining hands on experience of leadership. Through regular reviews with your assigned mentor, you will have the opportunity to learn all the required skills to be a rounded and successful Manufacturing Supervisor. Over the length of the scheme, you will also be supported through a professional level 3 qualification in Management and supervision.

The Role

Successful candidates will begin a career in first line management in one of our manufacturing functions.

• Supervising a team of people in manufacturing with full accountability for shift, ensuring safety and performance targets are achieved.
• Leading/assisting with continuous improvement projects and other similar activities.
• Ensuring all operators are maintaining output levels in line with targets.
• Recording all major events i.e. downtime
• Collecting and checking all summary KPI reports from operators.
• Maintaining high standards, ensuring adherence to Health and Safety procedures

Role Requirements

• We are looking for graduates who are driven to lead and succeed, who aren’t afraid of taking on new challenges and who have a genuine desire to make a difference.
• Minimum 2:1 degree in preferably Mechanical Engineering / Business Management or similar discipline
• Excellent communication skills 
• Strong numeracy and computer literacy
• An interest in the manufacturing / automotive industry
• You must be currently eligible to work in the UK and be able to provide proof of this
