This thriving, investor backed, start-up DTC e-commerce business is looking to further expand its digital marketing offering and to strengthen its social media presence by hiring a Social Media and Community Manager. With a fantastic opportunity to expand this brand's social strategy, social engagement and community engagement, this role offers a brilliant opportunity to take the next step in your social media career.

Key responsibilities of the role:
- To oversee and lead organic social activity for the brand ensuring social strategies lead to greater engagement with new consumers
- To create impactful content to share on appropriate social channels including Instagram and Facebook, but also to further develop the brand on emerging platforms such as tiktok
- To manage the established community, continuing to ensure effective engagement, moderating content and sharing appropriate content which would appeal to the community
- To look for new opportunities and new social channels which may be appropriate for the brand and their audience
- To utilise appropriate social listening tools to analyse social media activity, understanding key themes and trends, to ensure insight can further develop social strategies

Key skills required:
- This role would suit an established social media practitioner with experience of managing social media channels for a DTC brand, most likely you will be a social media assistant or similar looking to further progress your career
- You will have a strong appreciation for delivering effective organic social content across channels including Facebook and Instagram
- You will have experience of managing a community, understanding how to drive engagement and monitoring topics
- Demonstrable copywriting and content creation skills, with the ability to create engaging content
- You will be passionate about social media
- You will also be keen to work within a growing start-up and be excited to help shape a growing brand
- Experience of using social listening tools such as Brandwatch
- Experience of scheduling social content and creation of social calendar
- You will also have strong communication skills
