On offer is an opportunity to join a start up where you will be one of the first handful of employees developing Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning using image processing techniques to find and treat cancer more effectively and quickly. This is an opportunity to establish yourself in the infancy of this company and grow with the business.

The role will combine working with the latest Python and AI frameworks, model research, integration of models into a complete software product, and contributing to publications. You will be able to work with other AI experts and a software platform that is already achieving state-of-the-art performance.

This is very much at the development stage with 90% still to be evolved and developed to make it commercially viable. You will be able to see your work from conception through to roll out on a mass scale.

This company have recently received £multi-million worth of funding and are now at the stage of achieving key objectives in 2021 with a view to growing the team and developing this life saving technology.

This role would suit someone who is passionate about wanting to make a difference and save lives in the long term.

THE ROLE

• Application of deep learning algorithms, deep image processing and/or machine learning
• Programming in Pytorch, Tensorflow or Keras, C/C++, Flask/back-end, Javascript/front-end
• Medical imaging, DICOM, ITK / SimpleITK / VTK
• Medical device development
• Clinical development, studies or trials, for example designing/running clinical evaluations

THE PERSON

• Minimum MSC or PHD in Machine Learning
• Medical Imaging experience or exposure
