Are you wanting to be part of a team in a busy Trauma ward environment?
Do you want to gain experience in Trauma and Orthopaedics?
If so, we are looking for a self-motivated individual to work with us to continue to develop our Trauma unit, ward 36.
Ward 36 is a 34 bedded Major Trauma and Trauma Ward, caring for complex trauma patients. It is a busy and rewarding environment to work in. Supported by the Matron and Ward Manager along with three Sisters, a full complement of Registered NHS and Military Nurses, Assistant Practitioners, NHS and Military Health Care Assistants and ward administration support, you will be fully supported in this exciting role.
The role requires you to be flexible, resilient and forward thinking with compassion and
care for the patients you come into contact with. You will be an honest person who is straightforward and has high standards of care. You will thrive on the busy nature of our ward and you will enjoy keeping things going when it gets tough. This post requires skills including having the right strengths and being a positive motivator.
You will work with a team of Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeons and Emergency Department Consultants, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Major Trauma Co-ordinator, and Nurse Practitioners working together to enhance patient care and experience.
