Community Engagement Leader - Environmental Video Channel

Work from home and collaborate with zoologists, conservationists, filmmakers and journalists to drive change in our relationship to the natural world.

2 - 8 hours per week

What are you going to do:

The Biome Project is a non-profit video magazine that launched in November 2020 and is growing quickly. We produce podcasts, documentaries and written content centred around wildlife and ecology.

We have an exciting new role that is all about taking action. We provide content to help educate people about wildlife issues but now we want to help our viewers change their behaviours, watch insightful films, support transparent organisations and generally be more mindful of nature. This is what this role will be all about!

We are looking for someone who can generate ideas, lead their own role (whilst working well within a team) and be part of our journey.

The role will involve;

  • Communicating with viewers
  • Working as part of a team
  • Utilising existing social channels
  • Learning about wildlife issues

The right candidate will have a passion for wildlife but will not need any zoological/environmental qualifications as this role is all about communication and engagement.

The hours worked can be completely flexible and you can work entirely from home.

We look forward to hearing from you.
