Junior Audio Algorithm Engineer – Machine Learning / NLP / Audio Analytics / ARM

 

Are you a junior/mid-level Algorithm Engineer with a passion for anything audio? This is a role for an enthusiastic engineer to work for one of the worlds leading multimedia companies. You should have the passion to work on new and disruptive AI/deep learning/machine learning solutions in the field of improving audio processing.

 

Job Type: Permanent

Location: Windsor, UK (Remote)

Key responsibilities for the Audio Machine Learning Algorithm Engineer:

  • Design and implement machine learning approaches that will run in realtime embedded hardware.
  • Keep up to date on the latest developments in the field of AI/Machine Learning/Deep learning and by reading relevant papers/journals and applying the new learnings to create great meeting room experiences.
  • You understand audio concepts such as: objective acoustic testing standards, frequency domain representations, as well as magnitude and phase of audio.

 

Key skills required for the Audio Machine Learning Algorithm Engineer:

  • 2-3 years of experience in coding in e.g. C/C++, Python, Lua, R, Matlab or a similar language.
  • 2+ years’ experience in Machine Learning technologies and tools e.g. TensorFlow or PyTorch.
  • Experience as a software engineer with ARM/Cortex, embedded and real-time digital audio communication algorithms.
