Based at Abbey View, Sherborne DT9 4HG
40 hours per week, 11am-7pm Monday-Friday but may also include occasional cover on weekends as required.
Additional hours / overtime opportunities available to suit your circumstances
Up to £11.23 per hour inclusive of all enhancements
Pay breakdown:
Basic Pay Rate: £8.91 per hour
Enhancements for a relevant, job specific NVQ or Diploma Level qualification are paid as follows: NVQ 2 additional 56p p/h, OR NVQ 3 additional 82p p/h
Plus £1.50 p/h weekend enhancement when requested to cover weekend shifts

You’ll contribute to the exceptional care we provide to our residents, keeping true to our values of being ‘friendly, kind, individual, reassuring and honest’. You will play a vital role in ensuring residents’ satisfaction, checking that they are enjoying their meals and taking action to correct any problems. We’ll expect you to deliver an excellent waiting service for food and beverages. We offer a variety of restaurant shifts throughout the day and evening. Depending on your shift and residents’ needs, you may provide room service for breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks. At all times, we will require you to maintain general Health and Safety standards.

About You
Previous experience is helpful but isn’t necessary. If you have waiting experience or have worked in catering, restaurant, hospitality or a similar background then this will be an advantage. Ideally you will have some transferable skills working with customers to high standards.
