Staff Nurse - Digestive Diseases Unit (BANK) - COVID-19 in London

Job description

We have exciting opportunities for Staff Nurses to join our Bank team working across our Digestive Diseases Unit. These roles are based within The London Clinic’s main hospital in Central London, W1G 6BW (close to Regents Park & Baker Street tube stations).

Established in 1932, The London Clinic is one of the UK’s largest private hospitals, with state-of-the-art facilities located on Harley Street. We have circa 1300 employees, and our main hospital spans 8 floors comprising of 234 beds and 10 theatres. Our Digestive Diseases Unit comprises of 16 patient rooms all with en-suite facilities. We provide medical and mainly surgical care to patients across a range of specialties, including Colorectal, Gastroenterology, Upper GI and Stoma Care.

Job Description

Working as a Bank Staff Nurse is a highly flexible option working long days or nights including weekend work, and pays highly competitive hourly rates, up to £28.48 per hour (Sunday rates are £33.52 per hour)

Duties & Responsibilities

  • As a Staff Nurse in the Digestive Diseases Unit, you will take responsibility for individualised patient care, assessing, planning, delivering and evaluating high standards of nursing care, ensuring the highest level of customer service is delivered to our patients.

 

Skills & Experience

  • Registered Nurse with valid NMC pin.
  • Post registration experience in Gastrointestinal & Colorectal Surgery.
  • Competent IV giver with Epidural, Venepuncture/cannulation, ECG & knowledge of gastroenterology conditions and interventions.
  • You will be enthusiastic, well organised with excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
