What’s involved?
• Liaison with all Customs departments, including departments with specific responsibility, e.g. Port Health etc.
• Within this exciting role duties will include arranging transport and managing all aspects of import & export
• Customs Clearance preparation and transmission.
• Provide clearance notifications to customers where necessary / appropriate.
• Checking, advising, or applying for import licences as required.
• Receive documents and shipment notifications, reference jobs within forwarding system (i.e. Datafreight)
• Provide correspondence to Customers via appropriate method.
• Provide correspondence to Suppliers via appropriate method.
• Use Port Community Systems (Destin8 / CNS).
