Fyffes Graduate - Operations Management Programme

Fyffes are the market leaders in their sector having been trading for over 130 years supplying fresh produce globally to customers and consumers alike. With an infrastructure that reaches across the globe, they are truly an international player, involved in the production, procurement, shipping, distribution and marketing of bananas, pineapples, melons and other exotic fruits. As part of their business's growth, they are looking to strengthen their operational teams by recruiting talented graduates who are looking to develop their career in to operations management.

As an Operations Management Graduate you will be joining our business on an 18-month training plan developing your people skills, your organisational skills and your problem-solving skills with the aim of becoming a key member of the site production team. The training programme includes time spent in various different departments including: quality assessment, planning, production management, sales and logistics.

We are looking for confident individuals who are comfortable working within a fast-paced environment, people who have the natural ability to lead, have excellent communication skills and the ability to foresee problems and their solutions both short and long term.

As an international business with several sites across the UK the training programme will require you to relocate as part of your training as this will be split across several locations including; Scotland, Hampshire, Somerset, Warwickshire and Yorkshire. Full relocation assistance will be given.

Who we are looking for?

Maybe from a food or agriculture related degree or from a more general discipline, we are looking for someone who wants to develop their career in a fast-paced production environment with one of the largest businesses in the sector.

Key Skills we are looking for:

*Hold a degree at least 2:1 level maybe in a food or agriculture related degree
*Excellent communication skill both verbal and written.
*Good working knowledge of MS office applications.
*Committed to the learning process.
*Extremely motivated and a great team player.
*Results driven, both personally and for the business.
*Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
