A fab opportunity for a fashion led Intern to work with high-end product alongside 2 businesses - a busy seamstress studio and a bridal boutique (very close proximity to each other).
Love Bridal is a very busy bridal boutique located in Crystal Palace with close to 9 years of fulfilling brides dreams.
The Intern will: Ideally 1-2 days per week alongside their studies, work with the 3 stylists in the everyday processes behind the scenes as well as assisting brides with their requirements. This will include, meeting and greeting, diary management, system learning and CRM, some social media such as Tik Tok or Instagram (and Facebook to some extent), back end system learning and filing, working with the stylists whilst with the brides to assist with the appointment and helping choose the right accessories.
Answering the phone and dealing with queries. Dressing the brides as required by the stylists. Into the busier months, the Intern will also be heavily involved with the Seamstress and preparing the dresses ready for inspection and collection - Steaming and prepping the gowns for the brides collections, working with a seamstress helping with her diary management and setting up the seamstress requirements. Refreshments, boutique tidying and other Adhoc duties as they arise.
The candidate: Must be comfortable around a lot of women in all states of dress/undress. Computer literate both on mac/PC (preferable, not essential as will have training). Exceptional English - both verbal and written. A passion for fashion and must have some experience of working with garments. Some previous customer-facing experience. Ideally will be open to trying/modelling the gowns for the use of social media (preferable but not essential). Stylish and has a knack for styling others (even if it's your friends when out shopping). Strong attention to detail. The role is flexible for as many months as required for both us and you and ideally will be weekdays although we're open to running this alongside a Saturday Job too. Please note that steaming is physically challenging at times and you must be comfortable on your feet for any length of time due to the length of the gowns.
This is working in SE19 and throughout the summer months, so please don't have a months holiday in Australia planned!
