Milton Keynes Hospital Charity is looking for a Fundraising Apprentice to join our team.

Supporting the charity fundraising team, you will help us provide the best possible care to our donors and supporters. This is a great opportunity to undertake a Fundraising Level 3 Apprenticeship whilst learning many key ‘on the job’ skills.

Your role will often be the first point of contact for our donors, so you will need the right interpersonal skills to make them feel valued and appreciated. You will need excellent written and verbal communication skills, the ability and passion to build and sustain good relationships in and outside the hospital; good attention to detail and computer literacy.

You will help deliver our events calendar; support our fundraisers in the community and spend time meeting and getting to know staff working within the hospital too.

You will help manage our fundraising records and database, as well as contribute to team planning sessions, coming up with suggestions and ideas – so we can meet targets and offer the best possible support to patients, their families and staff at Milton Keynes University Hospital.

Simply put, there’s never a dull day within this small but busy fundraising office!

The Apprenticeship programme will be delivered by Impact Future Training. You will take part in interactive workshops and be assigned a tutor to support you throughout the programme as well as receiving support from the MKUH Apprenticeship Team.

Salary: £185 per week for the first 12 months. Months 13 – 19 National minimum wage (dependent on age of apprentice)
