The JVPs are the clinical leaders of our Joint Venture practices and are responsible for delivering an exceptional standard of care to our clients and patients.

About your role

As a Commercial Accountant you will work with the Regional Finance Manager and act as Finance Business Partners for our JVPs and their Area Relationship Managers (ARMs).

You will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service to the JVPs and ARMs in your region for any Finance support that they require.

No two days are the same in the role. You will be supporting and building relationships with a whole range of non-financial stakeholders, enabling them to grow their practices and ultimately succeed in their ambitions.

Key responsibilities will include (but not limited to);

• Ownership of queries/issues from ARMs and JVPs ensuring these are responded to and resolved efficiently and appropriately
• Analysis of periodic performance of practices to identify areas of weakness, determine route cause and partner with ARM to drive resolutions
• A pro-active approach to periodic practice reviews, highlighting key discussion points to support ARMs with JVP finance reviews
• Supporting Regional Finance Manager with annual budget production, support, meeting

About your experience

You will be a newly qualified accountant or finalist (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) who also possesses great people skills as you’ll need to be able to clearly communicate complex financial analysis to non-financial partners and colleagues in a simple and easy to understand manner

Advanced excel skills are essential, as is a high level of attention to detail and an extremely organised and efficient approach.

You’ll have a background of delivering exceptional service to your customers, particularly when the message that you need to deliver is a challenging one, showing empathy and a desire to solve the problem at hand.
