What are you going to do:
Beautonomy is a London based beauty e-commerce business. We specialise in custom eyeshadow palettes and helping beauty creators earn money. And have recently received investment to expand the business. This means we are now looking for exceptional people to join our team.
The ideal candidate will be
- Enthusiastic about telling stories
- Enthusiastic about video as a communication medium
- Honing their craft and looking for a big project to showcase their skills
- Interested in getting to know our team and story
- Highly organised
- An excellent communicator
- Able to formulate and ask thoughtful questions to surface interesting insights
- Able to work independently
- Self-motivated and results oriented
- Able to take responsibility for a big project
- Excited about working at a start-up
- Be flexible and available at short notice
Responsibilities will include:
- Taking responsibility for creating a video diary of the changes that are occurring in our business
- Filming and editing behind the scenes footage or our work
- Interviewing staff, creators and partners
- Agreeing long term objectives of the content
- Planning and scheduling the video content creation and editing
- Working at different locations
- Liaising with staff re activities in the business and availability
- Briefing staff on content/ interview requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience making ‘behind the scenes’ style video content of people
- Experience interviewing people
- The ability to work with a mobile phone as well as a conventional camera
- Experience editing video
