Start Date: Immediate Pay: KR4 Here at Higham we are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and hard working teaching assistant to work 1:1 with a pupil with behaviour needs. This would be a KS1 position for a fixed term until 22 March 2022. However following a reapplication for further high needs funding we are hopeful that this post can be extended beyond 22 March 2022. This post is linked to the needs of an individual pupil and therefore could be extended depending on pupils needs and funding allocation. The hours are 8.45am - 12.00pm daily Mon to Fri term time, a total of 16.25 hours per week at Kent Range 4 contracted for 43 weeks per year including holiday. The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher within and outside the classroom supporting an individual pupil to enable them to access their learning. You will also work well within an established team supporting and sharing strategies with colleagues. The successful candidate will support the school SENCO and ASENCO in meeting the needs for this pupil.
