International Safeguarding and Risk Management Lead (Part-Time)

ABOUT YOU You have a proven record in leading and delivering safeguarding, child protection and risk management responsibilities in complex organisations. You are a professional who can think strategically, implement practical details, work independently with a team of mostly volunteers and take a leadership role. You can be ‘hands on’, taking the lead on varied and sensitive caseloads. And, you can step back to provide professional strategic and regulatory guidance to the Board, your colleagues and the volunteers you’ll manage. You have significant experience in child protection* for example, as a designated safeguarding officer in a community or statutory organisation (from the voluntary, commercial or statutory sectors). *Minimum 5 years’ senior experience and evidence of significant operational and management experience. You are comfortable and confident working with international colleagues and stakeholders at all levels of our organisation. To work with people and oversee efforts across close to 70 Member Associations, you will have excellent organisational and intercultural skills.
