We are seeking for dynamic, self-motivated and proactive candidate to work closely in a friendly, diverse and supportive team in Barnet Theatres. In Barnet Theatres, we are mainly operating on Trauma Orthopaedics , Emergency and Elective cases in different specialities such as General Surgery, ENT, Maxilo-Facial , Endoscopy , Maternity and Gynae cases. We care on Adult and Paediatric Patients. We are supportive team, selected candidates will be given an opportunity to develop skills and knowledge in operating theatre. Selected candidates will be supported in their mentoring, professional development and leadership.


The Operating Theatres at the Barnet site is a really exciting and interesting place to work currently. It has hugely developing services like organ transplantation both liver and kidney, vascular and plastic Hub for tertiary sites and other specialties. It is also an organization that is committed to delivering excellence in patient care and values its staff and patients. In order to maintain these standards we are looking to appoint passionate, enthusiastic and motivated Band 5 scrub practitioners/ nurses who have some scrub experience and want to develop their skills further.

Our facilities, combined with the latest in technology and onsite support services, enable our consultants to undertake a wide range of complex surgery.

The department offers a range of shifts that are flexible to meet ones needs. We have an excellent senior team in place that is able to offer a supportive learning environment with specialist simulation training. We can also offer development in a wide range of specialties and have Consultants committed to teach staff on these diverse areas. Practice educators and mentors support and teach staff on site.

Opportunities also exist to work on our other sites where we perform a range of elective surgery (Chase Farm Hospital) and day surgery (Edgware Hospital).
