What you need to have

  • Keen interest in cybersecurity and a working knowledge of computer networks, operating systems, software and hardware, and security.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability to identify and assess risks and threats, including trends and patterns.
  • Excellent attention to detail and understanding of security fundamentals.
  • Some knowledge of essential tools for penetration testing, white hat hacking and encryption will be advantageous.

As a Trainee Cybersecurity, you will

  • Gather intelligence and identify potential vulnerability to prepare for potential attacks.
  • Practice skills for exploitation preparation through penetration testing.
  • Take note and review security breaches in network systems and cloud.
  • Control access and authentication and use prevention techniques.
  • Generate reports on cybersecurity issues and provide recommendations.
  • Receive guidance, advice and support from an industry expert to develop broader knowledge and skills in baseline security topics as well as in areas like penetration testing, vulnerability management, security for network wireless and wired devices, and information reporting.
