A leading retail giant based in SW London is looking for an Agile Delivery Lead to join the Foundation Services team to improve the Agile Delivery processes.

The Foundation Services team are responsible for the networking, end-user computing, directory/microservices, WiFi etc. across their various establishments. The ideal candidate would come from a Cloud / Infrastructure background, experience in the retail industry and some direct exposure to Project Management / Delivery management.

This will be a fully remote role (perhaps 1-2 office visits during the contract).

Role: Agile Delivery Lead

Industry: Retail

Duration: Circa 3 months

Rate: Up to £500 a day (outside IR35)

Location: Fully remote (HQ SW London)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote best Agile Delivery practices for the Foundation Services team by introducing new concepts and ways of working
  • Manage project budgets
  • Identify ways to eliminate waste, dependencies and waste for the team to drive maximum outputs from project delivery
  • Engage with stakeholders and clearly communicate new team working processes

Key Experience:

  • Background in Infrastructure
  • Experience of Cloud - AWS or GCP
  • Worked in an Agile Coaching/Delivery Management role
  • Working with a team of Systems/Network/DevOps Engineers
  • Understanding of Prince2/ITIL Delivery
  • Working in the retail/hospitality industries

Nice to have:

  • Understanding of Foundation Services i.e Zensar or similar
  • Knowledge of retail estates such as Wifi, SD-WAN, EPOS, Tills and productising the delivery of these products
