What are you going to do:

The Role:

• Providing high quality cleaning in line with Cornish Gems standards

• Reporting property maintenance issues and breakages

• Use of the Cornish Gems shift scheduling system

• Support and communicate with your Property Supervisor effectively

• Work as an active member of a busy team

• Provide support to other team members as required

• Additional tasks as per business requirements

The Person:

Essential

• Adaptable, as things can change at the last minute

• Methodical and systematic when working through tasks

• Enthusiastic with a ‘can do’ attitude

• Professional at all times with guests, owners and colleagues

• Solutions focused with the ability to solve issues when they arise

• Proud, wants to do a good job and exceed expectations

• Organised and knows what needs doing and when

• Team worker actively supports colleagues throughout the company

• Effective communicator

Desirable

• Experience in housekeeping

• Experience in the luxury travel sector

Candidates will need access to a vehicle or able to access properties via public transport or on foot. Transport to and from properties is currently unavailable due to social distancing measures.

Paid training sessions are available immediately for successful candidates, with regular shifts starting mid-April. Normal working days would be Friday and Saturday, however we welcome candidates to apply if they are only available for either Friday OR Saturday, as long as this is on a regular basis. Ad-hoc hours may also be available.
