Free training with Google and the Prince's Trust

There is a combination of flexible self-study and live online support over a 3-month period, and you'll finish the course with a well-respected certificate to impress potential employers with. Join the taster on the 28th July 2021 to find out if the course is for you. If you are successful in getting on the course you will be invited to attend a series of short sessions to help you get started running 4th, 5th and 9th August.

During the course you’ll:

  • Learn about the fundamental areas of IT Support including networking, software & hardware, troubleshooting & more!
  • Gain employability skills specific for the digital industry.
  • Receive 1:1 follow on support to help you find your next steps into IT.

The course is free of charge and open to young people with the following criteria:

  • 18-30 years old
  • West Midlands
  • Not in stable work, education or training
  • Interested in starting a career in IT
  • Motivated and willing to commit to a minimum of 3 months (on average) to complete the certificate
  • Basic maths and English
